It's about time, teachers, ... for Teacher Appreciation Week! It may seem hard, this near to the end of the school year, to feel appreciated. Rest assured you are! And, if you feel beleaguered, overworked, and/or exhausted, just thank your lucky stars that you teach in the 21st century; not the 19th century.
Following is a list of the Rules for Teachers from 1872. Read them and be grateful that you don't have to whittle your pens or provide coal and water for the day.
